Alexandria Pet Care is the best team I could ask for. Alexandria Pet Care continues to be the best service I’ve ever used with my dogs.  I work from home so my pet care needs are sporadic, usually when I’m travelling, which would normally be stressful for me and my pups. However, the pet care team put my worries to rest.  Every time they come, my dogs are super excited to see them.  We work with three different teammates and they take care of my dogs just like I do.

All of them are Fear Free certified.  If you don’t know what that is, it’s worth your time looking it up.  Our story is not unique. We rescue St. Bernards and several years ago, right before the covid shut down, we rescued Lasai from the streets of Florida.  He was dreadfully afraid of men and skeptical of everyone else.  With the help of Alexandria Pet Care, we put together a special protocol for their visits which set Lasai at ease so he would allow them in the house.  The patience and diligence of this group is undeniable. After covid, I got a note from them that they used what they learned from what I call “The Lasai Protocol” to help the reactive dogs that were homebound during covid adjust to new people.  What this means it that you never have to worry that your dog will be treated any less lovingly than you treat them, and that they are treated with incredible patience.
